Schengen Visas application’s procedures
Applicants wishing to travel within the Schengen area via France, are invited to go to Aletimad, the new Visa Application Centre assigned by the French General Consulate.

The French General Consulate of Jeddah delivers short-stay Schengen visa that permits to the applicants to stay in any Schengen state for 90 days within 6 months.

The Schengen states are as following listed : Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Polond, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain Sweden and Swiss.

Concerning Overseas departments and territories  : Mayotte, Reunion, New caledonia, Wallis-et-Futuna, French Polinesia, St Pierre-et-Miquelon, Guadeloupe, Martinique et Guyana, the applicant must emphasize his destination when he applies for his visa in order that it can be apparent on the visa stamp.

Along with his visa, the traveler must be able to show at the French border police, the true copy of all the documents provided with the visa application.

France must be the main destination with a France Shengen visa.

The applicant should wait minimum 10 days before getting an answer to his visa application and taking back his passport

All documents in Arabic must be translated into French or English

Any application with missing documents or information can be rejected.

Visa fees (the equivalent of 60 Euro in Saudi Riyal) are not refundable whatever is the answer given to the visa application. Children under 6 years old do not pay visa fees ; visa fees for children between 6 and 12 years old are equivalent to 35 Euro.

Every Visa applicant is requested to give fingerprints unless children who are less than 12 years old.
