Conference of Laïla NEHME: “The Arabian Camel in Antiquity” [ar]

The French Service for Cooperation and Culture at the Consulate General of France in Jeddah welcomed Laïla NEHME, archeologist and research director at the CNRS, for a lecture about the “Arabian Camel in Antiquity” on January 10 2017.

In front of 40 people, Laïla NEHME told about her recent discoveries of representations of Arabian camels in archeological excavation sites. Those findings have been very important for the researchers because they have highlighted the major role of those animals for the nomadic and Nabatean people of this period.
